In 1903, Robert Lee and George Longland formed a partnership to create a unique and enduring force in the retailing of fine, quality furniture and furnishings to the households of Edgbaston.

From their original black and white timbered premises in Birmingham's Broad Street, Lee Longlands established themselves as true innovators, employing their own skilled craftsmen to make quality cabinetry and fine furniture.

Demand for quality furniture came from both near and far as their reputation spread.

In 1912 horse-drawn vehicles were replaced by a motorised Darracq Van. In 1932, the company built the imposing art deco store on Broad Street where we are today.

2002 saw further major investment with the company's acquisition of the family owned Vineys furnishing store in Abingdon, Oxford.

Today, with Robert Lee, the fourth generation family member at the helm, Lee Longlands continues to provide quality stylish furniture to homeowners throughout the Midlands.
