We are looking for a highly motivated professional Salesperson, with a passion for both selling and customer service, to sell a wide range of furniture, furnishings, rugs and floor coverings.
The candidate should have Ideally some knowledge in the use of MS Word and basic computer skills and have an excellent telephone manner.
You must be from a sales background, and have successfully completed structured sales training, in your current position, or from previous employment.
Training will be given in our in house IT systems and you will be invited to attend Selling Sills courses within our head office.

|Experienced customer service administrator required for busy furniture retail store based in Broad Street. Age 25+ preferred, as experience in this type of work is absolutely essential, and the ability to work on their own initiative. A high level of diplomacy and tact is required as a large part of the job entails dealing with customers, suppliers, and sales staff, both by telephone and personally on a daily basis. It is important that the applicant is a level headed, calm personality, able to deal with a variety of situations.|
A good level of word processing is required, and previous experience in furniture and furnishings would be extremely helpful. The job specification is as follows:
Responsible to the Sales Director
Receiving and recording service enquiries
Answering customer delivery queries
Actioning service enquiries
Dealing with suppliers on delivery and service enquiries
Maintaining accurate records on work in progress
Regular contact, both by telephone and letter to keep customers updated
Agreeing and arranging appropriate action to settle service enquiries
Hours of work: 9-5.30pm Monday Friday
Benefits: 28 days per annum including Bank Holidays
Contributory pension scheme after 12 months continuous service
