Purpose of the role

Key Accountabilities 

  • Ensure Ecom sales targets are achieved
  • Website remains ‘on brand’& fit for purpose
  • Ensure digital & social media postings are ‘on brand’
  • Ensure all marketing campaigns are ‘on brand’ whilst being delivered on time & within budget

Main Responsibilities

E-commerce Function

  • Ensuring digital customer UX is on brand
  • Responsibility for hitting sales targets
  • Deliver continual improvement for the digital customer journey
  • Keeping all website products up to date
  • Organising photoshoots to capture imagery
  • Manage email campaigns
  • Manage the overall PPC / SEO strategy

Social Media & Digital

  • Develop and then implement a Social Media strategy to ensure the company leverages social media to identify and acquire customers.

Marketing Function & Promotional Events:

  • Liaise with external marketing agency to ensure marketing strategies implemented
  • Manage the marketing budgets
  • Effective and efficient media implementation including analysis and monthly reporting
  • Ensure all campaigns are effectively translated across online channels
  • Working with and front facing the local marketing and events to ensure our showroom are well known in their local communities

Candidate Profile

  • To have delivered Ecom sales growth in previous roles is essential
  • Retail experience is essential
  • Experience working with Premium brands / Home furniture & furnishing sector is desirable
  • Demonstrable achievements within a relevant marketing & ecom role
  • Experienced people manager with track record of developing / mentoring team members
  • Able & willing to travel to various showrooms / locations as & when needed
  • Strong character with ability to challenge the norm
  • Obsessive attention to detail, well organised, ability to prioritise and manage own diary delivering projects on time to hit the hectic retail calendar
  • Relevant technical competency / qualification to be successful in the role
