The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within our warehouse and showroom environments, including handling incoming deliveries, stock management, showroom alterations & decoration along with general maintenance duties. This role requires a versatile individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent organisational and general maintenance skills. Main Responsibilities
  • Receiving and organising incoming deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation and stock management.
  • Booking in stock and maintaining inventory records to ensure efficient stock control.
  • Performing alterations and maintenance tasks in showrooms, including but not limited to product display adjustments, decorating, painting and wallpapering.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure showroom layouts are optimized for product presentation and customer experience.
  • Assisting in the distribution centre as needed, including picking, assembling and loading orders (for example, to cover holidays or sickness)
  • Participating in regular stock takes and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Providing support to other departments and team members as required. Profile
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or maintenance environment preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficient in basic maintenance tasks such as painting, decorating, and wallpapering.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Knowledge of stock management systems and basic computer skills preferred.
  • Flexible to travel and work at various group locations, as needed
  • Positive attitude with a ‘Can DO’ approach
  • Further training and development available for the right candidate (such as a City & Guilds Level 2 Electricians Course)
