Interview with Vogue Williams: We're delighted to be working together with the media personality Vogue Williams, as she launches her first furniture collection at Lee Longlands. We sat down with her to chat all things interiors.

Q: Why did you decide to launch a furniture?

A: I’ve always been obsessed with interiors, I have so much fun with it. So, launching a furniture collection felt like a really natural step. Home is everything to me, especially with a busy family, and I wanted to create pieces that are stylish but actually work for real life.

Q: How involved were you in the design process?

A: From start to finish! Right from the initial mood boards, to sifting through tonnes of fabric choices and even comfort testing. I’m quite particular, I really wanted everything to feel amazing, look gorgeous and still be practical. If I wouldn’t have it in my own home, it didn’t make the cut.

Q: Were there any particular influences behind the product designs?

A: A lot of the inspiration came from how we actually live as a family. I love relaxed, contemporary spaces that feel welcoming and lived-in. Howth is very coastal-inspired, it holds a special place in my heart as it’s where my home in Ireland is and where lots of family memories have been made. Piccadilly and Carnaby, on the other hand, are pure London energy - bold, confident, and full of character.

Q: When designing this collection, did you consider how well suited it would be for family homes?

A: That was a huge priority for me. I have three kids, so I know exactly what furniture gets put through! Everything needed to be durable, comfortable and easy to live with, but still look elevated and chic. We were really thoughtful about the materials we selected, choosing fabrics with a high durability content that go well beyond the minimum requirements for domestic use. I really wanted to create sofas that are designed to be lived on, not tip-toed around.

Q: How would you describe the collection?

A: I’d say it’s modern, versatile and effortlessly stylish. It’s designed to work for you - whether you love a bold pop of colour or prefer something more neutral and calm. There’s a sofa for every style, and on top of that, you can customise your look by choosing any fabric from the book.

Q: Do you have a favourite piece in the collection?

A: I genuinely love them all because they’re so different! There really is something for everyone (and every mood). But if I had to pick, Howth completely stole my heart from day one. There’s something about it that just feels so ‘me’. I’m obsessed with the stripe - it’s timeless but still has personality, and it works beautifully in both relaxed and more styled spaces.

Q: How would you describe your own interiors style?

A: I enjoy bringing colour into my home and having fun with it, whether that’s with a bold striped sofa or contrasting scatter cushions. Above anything, I want people to come in, put their feet up and relax. I love mixing textures, adding personality and just making it feel like home.

Q: What do you love about interiors?

A: I love how transformative interiors can be, a space can completely change your mood. I think your home should be your safe place, there’s no right or wrong when it comes to designing your home!

Q: Your collection includes both bold colour and pattern as well as neutrals. Do you prefer bold style or pared-back neutrals?

A: I genuinely love both. Neutrals are timeless and calming, but I also love adding a bold piece to give a room energy. I do love how you can start with a beautiful neutral base and then layer in personality with scatter cushions and throws.

Q: How would you style this collection?

A: I’d complement the scatter cushions with a good cosy throw, side tables are a must, and ambient lighting is a game-changer. I love practical, functional pieces that make a space easy to live in and that create a really cosy feeling.
