Bedroom
Our bed range includes bed frames, divan beds and ottoman storage beds, in every UK size from small single to super king, from Tempur, Hypnos, Vispring, ercol, Alf Italia and more. These are the things to decide first.
Choose the size
Standard UK mattress sizes are: small single 75 x 190cm, single 90 x 190cm, small double 120 x 190cm, double 135 x 190cm, king 150 x 200cm and super king 180 x 200cm. The bed itself is larger than the mattress, so check the full dimensions on the product page, and leave about 60cm to walk round the sides you use.
Bed frame, divan or ottoman?
A bed frame stands on legs, with a headboard and often a footboard, in wood or upholstered fabric. A divan is an upholstered base, and many are sold as a set with a mattress. An ottoman bed lifts at the mattress to reveal storage across the whole base.
Storage
Divans come with different drawer layouts, such as two drawers, four drawers or an end drawer. Continental drawers are placed so they can still open when bedside tables are in place. If there is no room for drawers to open, an ottoman gives you storage without them.
Adjustable and TV beds
Adjustable bases from Tempur raise the head and foot of the bed with a motor. We also stock TV beds with a built-in TV lift, such as the Luna and Florence.
Mattress and firmness
Some beds are sold with a mattress and some without, so check the product page. Firmness is a personal choice, and the Firmness filter narrows the list from soft to firm. You can also browse our mattress range on its own.
Delivery
Delivery times vary and are shown on each product page. If you need a bed sooner, use the Quick Delivery filter to see those available for 14 day delivery.
