Hand Nested Pocket Springs

At the heart of every Vispring mattress are individually nested Calico Cotton pocket springs, arranged in a honeycomb formation. Each spring responds independently to movement, helping the mattress conform naturally to the body while providing balanced support.

Hand Side Stitching

The borders of every mattress are carefully hand-side-stitched using natural twine. Taking hours to complete, this traditional technique strengthens the mattress edge and helps preserve its shape and comfort for years to come.

The idea became known as the Marshall Mattress, laying the foundations for what would become Vispring. Its unique construction offered a level of comfort and support unlike anything available at the time.

Over the decades, Vispring continued to refine the art of handmade mattress making, bringing together innovative spring technology with the finest natural materials. In 1924, the company established its workshop in Plymouth, where its mattresses are still handcrafted today.

More than 120 years later, the spirit behind that original idea remains at the heart of Vispring. Skilled craftspeople continue to hand-make every mattress to order, combining generations of knowledge with carefully selected natural materials and meticulous attention to detail.er.
