And while many manufacturers have turned to automation, Vispring continues to do things the traditional way – stitching by hand, filling each mattress themselves, and using the same curved nesting needles they’ve relied on for decades. If you have made the wrong choice of mattress spring tension, you may make a one-time exchange of your mattress for a different Vispring model or spring tension. However,the Comfort Promise only applies if you have tried and purchased the selected model in-store and been given individual advice by an expert to guide you in your selection which you have followed in making your purchase.

MILLIONS OF NATURAL SPRINGS

Horsehair is the longest natural fibre, and it’s been used in upholstery and bed making for generations. Vispring chooses horsetail hair for its remarkable ability to spring back to its original shape, no matter how much it’s compressed. It’s like adding millions of tiny springs to the mattress, helping it stay exceptionally comfortable for decades.

Vispring sources only the finest natural materials from around the world, with each fibre carefully chosen for its unique performance. They’ve perfected a luxurious blend that includes 100% British fleece wool, horsetail, silk, cashmere, and mohair – all expertly hand-teased over cotton-covered calico pocket springs to ensure exceptional comfort and support.

CASHMERE

Cashmere is one of the most luxurious, rare, and sought-after natural fillings in the world. This long, silky fibre is eight times warmer than sheep’s wool, yet much lighter. Sumptuously soft and indulgent, Vispring includes cashmere to give their mattresses that unmistakable Vispring feel.

COTTON

Vispring sources all their cotton from Turkey. This long-fibre cotton is incredibly strong yet exceptionally soft, with a unique natural sheen. Naturally hygienic and breathable, it helps regulate temperature, keeping you cool and creating a more comfortable rest.

BRITISH WOOL

Naturally hypoallergenic and fully breathable, wool absorbs moisture at ten times the rate of synthetic fibres ensuring the mattress stays in perfect harmony with your body by effectively regulating temperature throughout the night.

HORSETAIL

Horsetail is the longest natural fibre known and has been a key part of bed-making for centuries. Resilient, strong, and springy, it’s the secret that helps Vispring mattresses maintain their shape — even after decades of daily use.

MOHAIR

Mohair, sourced from the hair of the Angora goat, is naturally non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and flame-resistant. When blended with pure wool, it forms a strong, elastic fabric that helps prevent sagging in the high-use areas of your Vispring mattress.

SILK

Often hailed as one of the most luxurious fibres in the world, silk is also incredibly strong. Vispring’s silk blend combines Tussah and Mulberry silk, both naturally odourless and hypoallergenic—making it an ideal choice for a sumptuous mattress top layer.
